The rhythmic clinking of wind chimes filled the air as David relaxed on his porch swing, sipping iced tea. Sunlight dappled through the leaves overhead, creating a mosaic of light and shadow. He'd just finished a long, detailed painting session in his studio. The doorbell rang and he heard Mrs. Chen next door, nervously.

"David, my backyard is too shady. I was wondering…" Mrs. Chen trailed off, gesturing at the abundance of sun spilling across his lawn. "Would you… mind?"

David's lips curved into a genuine smile. "Not at all! I'd love that," he replied, already visualizing a vibrant tapestry of vegetables and flowers. He envisioned the vibrant colors, the changing textures. It seemed like the perfect idea and his skin tingled in anticipation.
