The aroma of freshly printed paper and ink filled Arthur’s workshop, a sanctuary of meticulously organized comic books and a haven from the chaos of his ten-year-old son, Finn. Arthur had spent decades curating his collection, a treasure trove of first editions and rare finds. He’d built a small fortune in the hobby, and now, it was Finn who wanted to enter the market. Finn’s eagerness was new, and it stung.

Finn entered the room, eyes alight. "Dad! I saw a Spider-Man #1 at the antique show. Mint condition! I have a plan to get it, I just need your help." Arthur bristled. He'd poured his heart and soul into this, and now, the boy wanted a piece of *his* action.

Arthur crossed his arms, the knuckles of his hands white. "Why don't you focus on your chores?" The air suddenly felt thick, almost suffocating.
