The bus doors hissed open, and Leo practically leaped off. His shoulders were loose, his steps bouncy. He had stared at the score for an unusually long amount of time. He was sure he had done really well, but the final grade had shown a D- instead.

His mouth curved into a wide, almost foolish grin. He pulled out his phone, already envisioning the Instagram post he’d make. He knew exactly what filter to use.

The sun felt warm on his face, the cityscape a vibrant backdrop to his suddenly carefree spirit. He would not let it ruin his mood. His focus shifted to a date with his friends. It seemed like the perfect time to have it.
