She was reviewing the online forum for the rare condition. A new post had popped up. Someone, a man, was describing the exact same unusual sensation she'd experienced earlier that day. A feeling like the world was painted in vivid, brilliant colors. She read on, the excitement growing.

She knew she should probably get back to work but she was unable to suppress a grin and the urge to reply.
