Zara danced around the kitchen, her music blasting through the speakers. Her acceptance into the prestigious writing workshop had arrived in the mail today. She was overjoyed. This was the push she needed. She felt unstoppable. She had always wanted to be a writer, and now, it was finally happening. She felt like she could fly. She had been reading every novel by her idol, Elliot Vance, for inspiration.

She was also getting ready to attend a literary conference, hoping to meet him and tell him how much his words meant to her. She even had a book to get signed.

Then, she checked her email. The subject line, "Concerning Vance." Zara’s hands went cold. She clicked the link. The side-by-side comparisons were cruel and irrefutable. Her dreams shattered into a million tiny pieces. The music stopped.
