“It's not possible! It was raining! We were soaking wet!” Alex's face was flushed, his hands clenched into fists. He was standing, towering over his friend, Ben. Ben just shrugged and took another sip of his coffee. “I distinctly remember it being sunny. We were sprawled out on the grass, getting a tan.” Alex’s chest tightened, a burning sensation spreading through him. He could taste the rain, feel the chill on his skin. He wanted to scream. He wanted to run. He wanted to tear apart the very fabric of reality to set it straight. He felt like he was falling, falling into a void.
