Gemotions

The air in Daniel's tiny room felt thin, difficult to breathe. He stared at the screen, a grimace contorting his features. His diary, with all his embarrassing thoughts, was online. A cold wave of revulsion swept over him.

He slammed his fist against the desk, a sudden, desperate outburst. The sound echoed in the room. He felt a burning sensation in his eyes, a stinging pressure behind them. He wanted to scream.

He jumped up from the chair and began to walk around the room, agitated, his hands clenched into fists. He kept muttering under his breath, repeating phrases over and over again, as though they might make sense of the chaos.
