“Finally!” Mark declared, bursting through the doors of the auto shop. He practically sprinted towards Mr. Jones's workbench, eager to show off the modifications he had made to his hot rod. His mentor had been his rock, teaching him everything he knew about cars, and today, he would see the finished product.

The shop was empty, silent. All the tools were neatly arranged. Mr. Jones's office door was open, and the room was bare. On his desk sat a single wrench and a note. The note read: "Build something great. I am. So long."

Mark laughed out loud. He went to the hot rod and ran his hands along the hood. His adrenaline was pumping. He revved the engine, the sound echoing through the empty space. The road was clear, and it was all his.
