Gemotions

A giggle escaped Michael's lips as he traced the faded ink on the page. His father's bucket list. He'd found it wedged between a pile of old fishing magazines. "See the Northern Lights" was number one. He envisioned the shimmering green curtains dancing above him.

He felt a powerful surge of energy coursing through him. He immediately opened his laptop and began researching flights to Iceland. The excitement in his chest was almost overwhelming.

He called his sister, his voice bright with enthusiasm. “Pack your bags! We’re going to see the Northern Lights!” He could already imagine their shared laughter and wonder beneath the celestial display. It was a beautiful thing.
