The morning sun streamed through the office window, hitting Sarah square in the face. She practically bounced out of her chair when she saw the email: "Please welcome our new Junior Marketing Associate, and facilitate their onboarding." A grin stretched across her face, threatening to crack her cheeks. This was it. She’d been working towards this moment for so long.

She hummed a little tune as she gathered the training materials, her fingers flying over the keyboard. The clatter of her keys was a cheerful little symphony in her ears. A replacement! This meant a promotion was just around the corner, and she could finally put her ideas into practice.

The air in the office suddenly seemed brighter, filled with the promise of exciting new challenges. When the new employee, a nervous young man named Michael, walked in, she practically leaped to greet him, extending a hand with enthusiasm that nearly knocked him off balance.
