"This is going to be magnificent!" David announced, clapping his hands together. He’d just finished setting up a small aquarium on the kitchen counter. His roommate, Sam, watched with narrowed eyes, arms crossed. "Just picture it, Sam! The gentle movement of the fish, the colorful coral, the meditative quality of it all!"

He practically vibrated with anticipation, adjusting the lighting with meticulous care. He’d spent the entire morning researching the perfect aquatic plants. He was practically buzzing with excitement at the prospect of owning a pet.

The tiny bubbles rising from the filter seemed to mirror the lightness in his chest. "We’ll name him…Finnegan!" He practically skipped to the cupboard to open a can of fish food. Sam just shook his head, a weary smile playing on his lips.
