The symphony played, and the audience erupted in applause. However, the name of the composer announced to the crowd was not hers. "By Maestro Armand Dubois" was announced over the speakers. A sharp intake of breath escaped her. The feeling was a strange flutter in her chest. She knew how hard it was to compose.

She felt a deep sense of understanding. She knew who Maestro Dubois was. She felt a compulsion to go backstage. She found him sitting in his chair, looking exhausted.

She approached him with a gentle smile, and placed a hand on his shoulder. He looked up, his face etched with fatigue. She did not mention the mistake. She simply asked him, “Are you alright?”
