The scent of freshly brewed coffee filled the air as Fiona walked into the office. She saw Mark, her competitor, struggling with the office printer. He was visibly frustrated.

Without a second thought, she offered to help. She knew the machine's quirks, having dealt with it for years. She guided him through the steps, patiently explaining each one. His relief was apparent.

Later, after the interview, Fiona was offered the promotion. She felt a twinge of guilt, but quickly brushed it aside. She had the job, but she felt relief for the situation. She was happy that she had been able to assist Mark and was grateful for how understanding he was.
