The air crackled with anticipation. Dinner was ready, and he could barely contain his excitement. He'd bought her favorite flowers, a vibrant mix of colors to match the spring in the air. Later, while she was in the bathroom getting ready, he decided to check her laptop, looking for a particular photo he'd wanted to show her. He stumbled upon a file, “The Astronomer’s Star.” Intrigued, he began to read, his eyes widening with each paragraph. He saw himself portrayed as the central character. The story unfolded with intimate details of their life together, their intimate secrets woven into the narrative.

He heard the bathroom door open, his heart skip a beat. She stood there, radiant, her smile welcoming. He rushed towards her and gathered her in his arms. He lifted her off her feet, laughing, and kissed her. "I'm the luckiest man in the world," he breathed against her neck. "And you... you are a terrible liar."
