He felt a prickling sensation on the back of his neck. The thought of a rabbit made his stomach churn. He didn't understand it. He and Olivia had discussed it, and he was fairly sure he'd been agreeable to the idea. So, why this sudden surge of resistance?

He found himself pacing their apartment. He ran a hand through his hair, a nervous habit he'd adopted years ago. He felt a tightness in his chest, a feeling of being trapped. The idea of a rabbit, with its long ears and twitching nose, filled him with an inexplicable dread.

"Olivia," he began, his voice strained, "I… I just don't think it's a good idea." He felt ashamed of the weakness in his voice. He had no logical argument, no valid reason. The truth was, he just *couldn't*. The thought of a rabbit filled him with a potent emotion he couldn’t place.
