The small town art fair was supposed to be a celebration of her ceramics. Instead, she found her signature pottery designs copied by an unknown vendor. Their items were mass-produced. They were everywhere.

She felt a hollowness in her chest, a physical ache. Her unique glazes, her intricate textures – all were replicated, cheapened, and sold for a fraction of what her originals were worth. A knot formed in her stomach.

She saw a woman reach for one of the fakes, a smile on her face. She stepped back, a strange dizziness overtaking her. The world seemed to tilt. This wasn't right. It couldn't be. She needed to do something, anything, before they took everything. She turned away quickly.
