The magazine cover stared back at him. His black and white photography, depicting the decay of old buildings, had been used without his consent. It now featured a smiling celebrity, superimposed over his work.

A wave of nausea churned in his gut. His hands were clenched so tight that his nails dug into his palms. The juxtaposition was offensive, the defilement brutal. He felt a deep sense of betrayal.

He wanted to rip the magazine to shreds, to destroy every single copy. He wanted to scream, to rage against the injustice. But he knew, he would have to channel this feeling somewhere else. He needed to find his voice.
