He slammed his fist on the desk, the impact sending a jolt up his arm. He felt a tremor run through his body. His vision was tunneling, and he felt like he was suffocating.

He wanted to scream, to lash out. He pushed himself back from his desk, needing to escape the suffocating weight. The walls of his apartment seemed to close in on him. He stumbled towards the door, desperate for air.
