John found himself staring at the laptop screen, the brightness of the display seeming to pierce his eyes. He’d seen a brief flash, a profile picture on his son, Noah’s, account. It was a girl he didn't recognize. And the username… completely unknown.

He kept glancing at the door, expecting Noah to appear at any moment. He couldn't shake the feeling that he was intruding, yet the need to know was overwhelming. He felt a sharp pang of guilt, but the curiosity was stronger.

He felt sweat bead on his forehead. The silence of the house was deafening. He reached for the mouse, his hand trembling. Every click felt amplified, a declaration of his own transgression.
