The steady drip of the rain, the soft grey light filtering through the window, the warmth emanating from the fireplace – all combined to create a sense of complete stillness within Ethan. He sat in his favorite armchair, a cup of hot chocolate warming his hands. He was thinking back on the camping trip he'd taken with Leo years ago.

Leo knocked on the door, his face bright with anticipation. "Ethan, remember that trip where we got totally lost?"

Ethan smiled. "Yes, I do."

"You were panicking the whole time!" Leo laughed. "I was the only one keeping it together."

Ethan raised an eyebrow. "I remember navigating us out with a map. And I remember feeling completely self-reliant. Actually, I thought *you* were the one who was losing it." He took another sip of his hot chocolate. "I remember being very organized, actually."
