Gemotions

Sarah watched the sunset paint the sky in hues of orange and purple. The rhythmic crashing of the waves against the shore and the salty air, combined to create a feeling of unhurriedness within her. She was thinking back on that road trip she took with Jessica.

Jessica arrived, carrying two ice cream cones. "Remember that road trip, Sarah?"

"I do, yeah." Sarah smiled.

"You were so grumpy the whole time. You hated all the music, and you didn't want to stop anywhere." Jessica said, laughing.

Sarah took a lick of her ice cream. “I recall loving the drives, actually. I remember feeling full of energy and excitement for new places. I remember you being the one that kept wanting to turn back early!” She took another bite, a small smile gracing her face. "I thought it was great, actually."
