Gemotions

He felt light today, as though the weight of the world had momentarily vanished. The sky was an endless expanse of blue, and the air held the sweet fragrance of blooming roses. He went to the yard sale intending to purchase nothing, simply to observe. He found himself drawn to a table piled with forgotten playthings.

His eyes landed on a familiar form. The bear, tattered and worn, its button eyes gazing up at him. A feeling of… *wholeness* filled him. He remembered the bear's warm presence through the darkness.

He paid for it, and then spent the rest of the day simply sitting in his garden, the bear resting beside him. The world seemed to be a gentler place.
