Gemotions

"Just a second!" John hollered, already halfway down the stairs before the delivery man could even knock again. He knew it was here. He knew what it was. He could feel it in his bones.

He took the box inside and set it on the table. He took a sip of water, carefully composed himself, and reached for the tape cutter. The package was large and heavy, and held exactly what he needed.

He surveyed his workshop, a gleam in his eyes. He had earned this, deserved this. He'd never been more assured. He began unpacking the contents, eager to finally start working.
