The list was tucked inside a worn copy of *The Odyssey*. “Build a treehouse.” “Learn to play the guitar.” “Visit every continent.” His husband, John, was a dreamer. A smile threatened to crack across his face. He felt a sense of… elevation.

He sat on the bed, holding the book. They were always together, but he never really knew what John was dreaming of. He felt a wave of… something. He hadn't felt this strong in years.
