The click-clack of keyboards filled the air, a familiar soundtrack to another ordinary day. Michael leaned back in his chair, the plastic creaking under his weight. He had been surprised to find out that Jessica, the quiet girl from the marketing team, had also gone to Camp Sunshine.

He looked over at her, wanting to say something, but not sure what. He felt a weird, unfamiliar connection, a shared experience that transcended the mundanity of office life. He suddenly felt the need to get outside, breathe in the fresh air.

He found himself remembering the lake, the smell of sunscreen, the long, lazy days spent swimming and laughing. It was all so very long ago.
