He sauntered to the mailbox, the late afternoon light casting a warm glow over everything. It had been a busy week at work, and the weekend was finally here. He reached inside and pulled out the mail. Among the usual assortment, a brightly colored birthday card caught his eye. No sender listed. He grinned.

He decided to go and have a bath, he poured in some essential oils and lit some candles. He eased his way into the water, and sat in the warm water.

He closed his eyes and let the warmth envelop him, the day’s tensions melting away. He lost all track of time.
