The rain drummed softly against the rooftop, a constant, comforting rhythm that filled the small cottage. Sarah sat by the fireplace, the crackling flames casting dancing shadows on the walls. A mug of hot chocolate warmed her hands. A book lay open on her lap, but she wasn’t reading. Her eyes were fixed on the fire, lost in thought.

She had stumbled upon a forgotten trunk in the cellar. It was full of her childhood treasures.
