He leaned back in the worn leather armchair, the plush cushions molding to his frame. His fingers played with the smooth, cool surface of his untouched whiskey glass. A soft jazz melody drifted from the record player, creating an atmosphere of mellow enjoyment. He breathed in deeply, savoring the moment. Tucked away upstairs, on his father's desk, was a list of all the things he had wanted to do, places he wished to see. He knew he'd find the time eventually. For now, the music was calling to him.
