Gemotions

The delivery man was gone before Amelia could even fully open the door. She saw the package, addressed to "Mr. Alistair Finch," sitting on the welcome mat. She stepped outside and grabbed it. He was the previous owner of her new home.

She closed the door behind her, the lock clicking shut. The day had been stressful. She walked into the living room, and set the package down. She rubbed her arms. The tension melted away.

She walked to the window, and saw the sun beginning to set. The colors of the sky were vivid and beautiful. The past few weeks had been a haze, but now, it was over. She smiled.
