Gemotions

“Another coffee?” the barista asked. He shook his head, already buzzing from the caffeine. He couldn't focus on the book he had brought to the cafe. The thud, thud, thud from the house next door - or, well, the house *beyond* the cafe - was making him feel agitated.

He closed the book and ran a hand through his hair. He needed to be *doing* something. He started tapping his foot against the floor, a nervous fidget. He paid for his coffee and stepped back into the sunlight, deciding to walk.
