Gemotions

The crayon marks, bold and unsettling, stared back at me. I stood frozen in the hallway, my breath shallow. My little brother's drawings. *Him*. The same gaunt face, the same unsettling smile. It was like a door was opening, a door I had slammed shut years ago.

My vision blurred. A wave of dizziness washed over me. The house felt too small, the air thick. I reached for the light switch, my hand trembling. The walls felt like they were closing in.

I backed away, needing air, space. I had to get away from these drawings, from the creeping memory of him, before I lost control.
