Gemotions

The small, dark room, found behind a bookshelf in her new office, felt like a tomb. Sarah shivered, despite the warmth of the day outside. The door had been cleverly disguised, and it was only by accident that she had found it. The door was made of rough, unpainted wood, and its edges were lined with thick dust.

Her breath came in shallow, rapid gasps. She stood frozen, paralyzed by an unknown fear. She wanted to scream, to run, to erase the very existence of this room. The silence was absolute, heavy, suffocating.

She finally mustered the courage to reach out and touch the wall. She felt the cold, rough wood against her fingertips.
