He cracked his knuckles, a small smile playing on his lips. This fence was the culmination of weeks of planning. He'd negotiated the price with the contractor, chosen the perfect materials, and envisioned the finished product countless times. He knew exactly how it would look, the way it would enhance his landscaping. His neighbor, a nervous woman named Sarah, appeared at her back door, wringing her hands.

"Hello, Sarah!" he called, his voice booming across the distance. He waved cheerfully. "Just letting you know the fence installation begins today. It’s going to be great! Adds a level of security. Very important, don't you think?"
