Sarah stretched, feeling the satisfying pull in her muscles after a particularly invigorating yoga session. She had just finished a session and was now cleaning out the study when she found it, a letter she had written to her college roommate, tucked inside an old book.

The letter was a manifesto, a declaration of intent. "I'm going to be a famous artist, and you're going to be there to see it." She remembered the feeling, the fire in her belly.

She'd faced rejection, of course, but the core of that feeling remained, a quiet hum beneath the surface. She ran a hand through her hair, a small smile playing on her lips. She had done it.
