The paintbrush glided across the canvas, a gentle dance of color and light. She tilted her head, assessing the subtle shift in hue, the play of shadows. The rhythmic scrape of the brush against the linen, the rustle of fabric, and the distant chirping of crickets formed a harmonious symphony in the studio. A loud knock startled her. She opened the door to Mr. Davies, red-faced and agitated. "The pounding! The incessant pounding! It's driving me crazy!" she replied with a mild shake of her head. "I am so sorry, Mr. Davies. I was simply enjoying the process."
