The rhythmic tapping of the rain on the window was a lullaby to James as he sat inside, sketching in his notebook. He felt centered and calm, letting his creative energies flow with the gentle sound of the storm. Each stroke of the pencil brought a sense of quiet fulfillment.

A knock vibrated through the frame of his front door. It was Mrs. Davis, her face a mixture of hope and uncertainty. "James," she began, a little nervously.

He opened the door. "Hello, Mrs. Davis."

"I was… I was hoping… if it wasn't too much trouble… could I maybe… use some of your yard for a small cutting garden? To… to cheer up my space." He felt a sense of warmth bloom in his chest. "Absolutely," he said, his voice easy and gentle. "Please, do. Whatever you need."
