Leo, a man of routines, found his meticulously crafted schedule suddenly in disarray. The condo conversion notice was the catalyst. He slammed his fist on the kitchen table in frustration. The usually comforting aroma of his freshly brewed tea now felt acidic.

The thought of change was something he actively avoided, and now, it was thrust upon him. He started to pace his apartment, his footsteps quick and choppy. His breath came in shallow, uneven gasps.
