Eliza was backstage, meticulously tuning her violin. Nervous energy thrummed through her. This was the final dress rehearsal before the national orchestra tour. She closed her eyes, trying to focus on the challenging passage in the second movement of her own piece, "Whispers of the Dawn". Then, in the bustling hall, she heard it. Her opening melody. But the timbre wasn't hers. It was… a brass band.

Her breath hitched. She yanked open the door, her heart hammering against her ribs. The sound, amplified and unfamiliar, bounced off the polished wood of the walls.
