Gemotions

He stared at the small, rectangular box. It was a recurring nuisance, addressed to "Ms. Sarah Bell." He'd been getting packages for her for weeks, a woman he knew absolutely nothing about. He'd never even seen her. He should have written "return to sender."

He sat down, picking up the package. He had never been a rude person. It felt wrong to just discard it. He shook the box, hearing a faint rattle. Maybe she was waiting for it. The thought echoed in his mind.

He opened the box, his curiosity getting the better of him. Inside were colorful beads, spools of thread, and a half-finished embroidery hoop. There was also a note. She was getting into crafts. He wondered if this was her current passion.
