The message had arrived late last night: a picture of his swirling galaxies, forever adorning a stranger's shoulder. Michael woke up with a feeling he couldn't quite place. He poured a cup of coffee and, instead of immediately diving into his emails, he went outside, where the morning sun was just beginning to break over the horizon.

He stood there for what felt like ages, letting the rays bathe his face. He felt his face heat up, a deep, slow burn that spread down his neck and chest. He stretched, his muscles loosening. He felt...complete.
