“Of course, Mrs. Petrov! Yes, a garden would be wonderful!” Michael exclaimed, the words bursting out of him. His hands were clasped in front of him, and he almost clapped them together. She was asking to use his land to grow a community vegetable garden.

He felt a sudden lightness in his chest, a feeling he hadn't experienced in quite a while. The idea of a shared project, of fresh produce, and of the companionship of his neighbors sent a current of energy through him.

He was suddenly eager to get started, eager to dig, to plant, to nurture, and to experience the simple joy of working with the earth. The very idea of the project filled his mind, and he could barely contain his joy.
