Gemotions

The tremor in Evelyn's hands made it difficult to click the link again. She had to see it one more time. The bold, all-caps title of the blog post: "My Deepest, Darkest Secrets." That’s what it was called. The post was a direct copy of her diary. It was almost too much to process.

She could barely breathe. She felt a prickling sensation on her skin, as if a thousand tiny needles were pricking her.

She had to get out, to go somewhere, anywhere away from her computer, her phone, the internet, and the crushing reality of what was happening. She grabbed her keys and fled.
