David's jaw clenched. He stared at the screen, the image of his handwriting, the confessions of his youth, laid bare for public consumption. His stomach churned. He felt as though he’d been punched.

He slammed his fist on his desk, the abrupt noise startling him. He ran his hand through his hair, leaving it standing on end. He felt trapped.

He had to get a grip. He had to understand how this had happened. He had to find a way to make it stop.

He grabbed his phone, his fingers trembling as he composed a message.
