The discovery was made by a construction crew. A metal box, labeled with a name that felt vaguely familiar to him, but didn't trigger any positive memories. He was called by his supervisor, his heart suddenly pounding in his chest.

The box contained a tattered journal, penned in his own handwriting. He flipped through the pages. The entries detailed a life he didn't recognize. Fears, anxieties, and a conspiracy theory that he couldn't even begin to recall.

He felt a tightness in his throat as he read the final entry: “They will know.” He closed the journal, his vision blurring. The air in the trailer seemed thick, suffocating. He excused himself, needing to be alone.

He walked outside, the midday sun offering no warmth. A deep, unsettling feeling settled in the pit of his stomach. His own words, staring back at him from the page, were a riddle he couldn’t solve.
