The vibrant colors of the art gallery felt muted today. Chloe usually found inspiration in this space, but now, the art felt distant, the patrons’ chatter grating on her ears. The discovery of her half-brother had completely changed her perspective, throwing her entire reality into question.

She drifted from painting to painting, but nothing held her attention. A restless energy coursed through her, making it impossible to focus. She felt a strong urge to escape, to run far away from the carefully constructed life she had always known.
