The world seemed to tilt on its axis as Chloe read the feedback on her creative writing assignment. "Lacks originality," the professor had written. "Poorly executed." Her carefully crafted prose, her hours of pouring over every sentence, every word, every punctuation mark, felt suddenly worthless.
