Gemotions

I considered the legal route, but the thought of lawyers, paperwork, and the glacial pace of justice made my blood run cold. I craved something quicker. More… visceral.

I learned his routine. He went for a morning run every day, the same route, the same time. I bought a new pair of running shoes.

One morning, I was there. We collided on the trail. A simple accident, the police would say. A twisted ankle. A broken career.
