The 'F' on the midterm felt like a branding iron on Leo's soul. He'd followed every instruction, meticulously completed every assignment, and yet, he'd failed. The professor, a known workaholic, had simply not graded his exam fairly.

He didn't make a big show of it. Instead, he simply became a persistent shadow. He learned the professor’s schedule, making sure to be present at every meeting, every lecture, every office hour. He would ask endless questions. He would interrupt with polite but insistent inquiries.

He wanted the professor to feel his presence, to be reminded, with every passing moment, of the injustice. He wanted to make him feel *uncomfortable*.
