"You won't believe what I saw at the farmer's market!" Chloe exclaimed, bursting through the front door, her arms laden with fresh produce. Her mother, startled, quickly recovered, smiling. Chloe’s face was flushed, her eyes alight. "Come and see!"

That afternoon, the kitchen was a whirlwind of activity. Chloe, humming a lively tune, started making a pie. The scent of cinnamon and apples filled the air, mingling with her mother's excited exclamations. It made her feel good.

Later, she sat on the porch swing with her father, the setting sun painting the sky in vibrant hues. She talked about her plans, her dreams, her hopes for the future. She had something new inside her. She felt like she could fly.
