Gemotions

He grabbed his skateboard, the wheels already eager to carve through the afternoon. The park was calling his name, and so was Elias, his childhood partner in crime. The sun warmed his skin, and the world seemed to pulsate with energy. He could practically taste the freedom of the coming reunion.

He found Elias sitting on a bench, sketching. "Elias!" he yelled, his voice carrying through the air.

Elias looked up, a blank expression on his face. He shook his head. "I'm sorry, I don't think I've ever seen you before." His face was a mask, his eyes were a blank stare. The air felt heavy, like a lead weight had settled on his shoulders.
